With its birch brush and concrete cup, the Toilet Brush Set by Iris Hantverk is a chic take on a staple bathroom accessory. The cup uses a unique concrete mix that incorporates a small addition of polymer. Its texture is soft while retaining its sturdiness, resulting in a pleasant feeling that is warm, smooth, and comfortable to the touch. Handmade in Sweden.

Note: You cannot fill the concrete cup with water and cleaning detergent and have the brush standing in it. Use the brush with toilet cleaners, clean the toilet, shake out the excess, and place the brush in the concrete cup.

Founded in 1870, Iris Hantverk began in Sweden as a collaboration between visually impaired artisans who lived across the country. Later in the 20th century, Iris Hantverk became increasingly reliant on government subsidies. In 2012, Richard Sparrenhök and Sara Edhäll took out mortgages to save the venture. Today, their vision is to revive the traditional brush binding profession—making functional products with Swedish design combined with high-quality materials and expert craftsmanship.
