In 2014, Phoebe Yu founded ettitude after recognizing that textiles are the world's second-most polluting industry while struggling to find sustainable bedding for her own home in Australia. In 2018, serial entrepreneur Kat Dey joined as co-founder after experiencing "the best night of sleep in my life" with the product. Together, they built a certified B Corporation that proves luxury and environmental responsibility aren't mutually exclusive, creating bedding that's 51% more durable than competitors while saving 99% of water and reducing CO2 emissions by 38% compared to cotton.
